Job Overview:

Banjara and Gypsy is seeking a Sales and Promotions Intern to develop and implement sales and promotional strategies to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition. As the Sales and Promotions Intern, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales and promotions professionals and working closely with other departments to ensure the success of our sales and promotional campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales and promotional strategies to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  • Manage a team of sales and promotions professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product, to ensure the success of sales and promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Manage Banjara Gypsy Website and write blogs
  • Community Building – Weekly engagements.
  • Promotions on Facebook groups and keep searching new avenues to promote.
  • Influencer marketing – Collab – Every week build new organic tie-ups
  • Calling customers and convertion that leads to successful registration to the event
  • Corporate marketing outreach – send e-mail brochure for corporate trips.
  • Event Sponsorships, Vendor & B2B Partner management.
  • Think of creative ways to establish Banjara & Gypsy brand in Gen Z/ Alpha audience.
  • Manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure the success of sales and promotional campaigns.
  • Plan and execute sales events, such as trade shows and conferences, to promote our products and services.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of sales and promotional campaigns, making recommendations for optimization and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Must be passionate about travel and social media 🙂
  • Looking for a smart, reliable and self-starter and who is willing to learn while working with Co-founders
  • Degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales and promotions, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and customer acquisition. (Not mandatory )
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of sales and promotions professionals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
  • Experience working in the travel industry is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from multiple stakeholders.
