What’s a Plan ?

  • Day 1: Start from Chandigarh 7 to 8 hours journey arrival at cottage dinner at cottage if early arrival short hike to waterfall

  • Day 2: Open your eyes to the beautiful Tirthan valleyed enjoy your breakfast with a Mountain View, drive to jaloripass and Trek to magnificent saraolsar Lake (easy hiking ), Enjoy Maggi and Chai points in between on your way to trek and back to jibhi, have dinner and overnight at cottage.

  • Day 3: Start early today after breakfast, short tour for water fall and jibhi water fall and proceed to kasol over night at kasol -evening short tour kasol market and cafe. Drive to kasol ( white water rafting optional) over night at kasol hotel, by evening visit local kasol market. Short hike to tosh village (as per time permits) .Have dinner at home stay
  • Day 4: After breakfast drive to Manikaran and route towards manali by evening visit hadimba temple and mall road manali over night at hotel

  • Day 5: After breakfast drive to sethan hamta to explore high mountains and iglo visit depends on snow fall and back to manali.

Things to Carry

  1. Mask and Sanitiser (Take at least 70% alcohol)
  2. A small and sturdy 20-litre backpack, a couple of 1-litre water bottles, 
  3. A rain jacket owing to the unpredictable Kodachadri weather,
  4. A cap for sun protection, some energy-snacks and a basic first aid kit will do just fine.
  5. A comfortable pair of shoes having decent grip is an absolute must (Waterproofing though not compulsory will have added benefits while crossing waterfalls or streams). 
  6. Trousers or track pants offer slightly better protection against those hungry leaches over shorts but those suckers will manage to find their way inside nevertheless.
  7. Cash (ATM/Paytm might not work due to low internet bandwidth at some places)
  8. Power banks (not mandatory)
  9. Personal medication
